Early October Victories

The beginning of October, 2011 is seeing plenty of small victories around the homestead. From remodeling plans being drafted, including paint colors, floor materials, etc., to new lighting fixtures and much needed outside repairs.

So today marks an epic moment in the history of mankind…or at least this man. For today begins the war of the chores. The task lists were compiled all winter long, and now with nice days happening more often than not, the check boxes must inevitably be addressed and, dare I say it, checked.

Repair Time

I'm not sure why it works out this way, but it always seems that autumn is the time for home repairs and upgrades, for us at least. I'm pretty sure our focus will be on the kitchen, bathroom inside and the skirting around the foundation on the outside.

Spring garden almost done
